Oppong-Nkrumah, Jinapor win first time ticket to Parliament

The Former host of Joy FM's Super Morning Show and aspiring New Patriotic Party (NPP) member of parliament (MP) for Ofoase Ayirebi and Deputy Power Minister and aspiring MP for Yapei Kusawgu have won their seats. 
Kojo Oppong-Nkrumah and John Jinapor are both first timers to have won their respective seat to be legislators.

Bulldog has spoken out on his acrimonious break-up with former top act Shatta Wale, who he managed for years until they abruptly ended their relationship. The whole messy break-up was interspersed with threats of violence and exposing nude photos and the like. Resurfacing Of Oda-Akyem Chia Road Progresses

Resurfacing of the 51.4 Kilometre road from Oda to Akyem Chia, which forms part of the Oda-Nkwakaw main road, is progressing steadily.  The project, which is being financed with part of the cocoa syndicate loan, is being undertaken by two Accra-based contractors: Hardwork Company Limited and Archwork Company Limited. Hardwork Company, which is working on the 34.6 kilometre portion of the road from Ofoase to Chia, is applying the second coating of bitumen; while Archwork Company, which is undertaking the Ofoase-Oda portion of the road, has completed about 50 per cent of the project. The District Chief Executive (MCE) for Akyemansa, Mr Tom Budu, who led newsmen to inspect the project last Wednesday, said the two contractors were expected to complete the project by the end of November, 2016.
