Following the barrage of criticisms that has greeted the video showing the founder of the International God's Way Church, Bishop Obinim, flogging two teenagers with a belt during a church service for alleged fornication, one of his aides has come to his defence. Joseph Osei Brenyah confirmed that, the two had been taken in by Obinim and had engaged in sexual relations, resulting in a pregnancy which was subsequently aborted. Ghanaian actress, Nana Ama McBrown married her long time boyfriend Maxwell Mensah last Friday. The ceremony was attended by a few friends and family members. Photos from the ceremony are yet to be officially released but Graphic Online has obtained some copies. Bulldog has spoken out on his acrimonious break-up with former top act Shatta Wale, who he managed for years until they abruptly ended their relationship. The whole messy break-up was interspersed with threats of violence and exposing nude photos and the like. Speaking on Hitz Fm Wednesday, Bulldog revealed that contrary to most reports, the break-up had nothing to do with money, but instead with the threats Shatta Wale made against his wife. Bulldog said when he heard Shatta Wale was threatening to release the nude photos of his wife, he knew at that point that their working relationship was over.“At the time, I had gotten information that he had my wife’s naked picture and that’s not a joke… The only reason I broke up with Shatta was my family; nothing else. Five residents of Donkorkrom are currently in critical condition and are receiving treatment at the Presbyterian Hospital in the town following a clash between the residents and police officers. The five are among sixteen persons that sustained gunshot wounds during the clash which has resulted in the burning down of the Police Station in the area. The residents set the police station and barracks in the town ablaze to protest the escape of two alleged armed robbers who attacked a bullion van Tuesday and killed one person. About 30 police officers at the station and the barracks who were overpowered by the residents are reportedly fleeing for their lives. The fleeing officers were said to have fired the shots to scare the angry residents . “All the youth are fighting with the Police now. Luis Enrique completed his clean sweep of every trophy on offer in Spanish football by leading Barcelona to a 5-0 aggregate win over Sevilla in the Super Copa. Jamaica’s Elaine Thompson made it a sprint double at the Rio Olympics with gold in the 200m final. It was a talent-filled field, with Dafne Schippers the main rival to Thompson for the top spot.
