Alhaji Adam Iddrisu is dead

One of Ghana's foremost entrepreneurs, Alhaji Adam Iddrisu, the owner and Chairman of Global Haulage Group Limited (GHGL) has died at age 72.
Family sources tell Myjoyonline.com Alhaji Iddrisu passed Wednesday dawn.
His final funeral rites will be performed after the Asr (late afternoon) prayers at the at the Global Haulage compound at Achimota in Accra.
Global Haulage Group Limited consists of Global Haulage Company, Imperial General Insurance, Isudam Construction, Cocoa Merchant, Royal Bank, Federated Commodities, Trans Royal Ltd, Royal Commodities and Global Automobile Limited.
Alhaji Iddrisu also made an investment in agriculture with GG Farms as well as real estate with Global Haulage Real Estate. 
Ahaji Iddrisu started Global Haulage Company in 1953 around Timber Market in Accra's business district. 

In December last year, the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in awarded him with an Honorary Doctorate. 
He left behind 23 children.
