Tomkins leaves West Ham

James Tomkins has left West Ham to join Crystal Palace.
Jack Sullivan - son of Hammers co-owner David - has confirmed the news via social media.
However, he revealed the east Londoners hope to have some new blood through the door in the next three days.

Cresswell signs new Hammers deal

West Ham have confirmed that Aaron Cresswell has signed a new one-year extension to his current contract.
He already had a ‘long-term’ deal, so it’s an odd one to make a song and dance about, but whatever floats their boat, hey?
“It’s great news for me,” Cresswell told West Ham’s website. “I’ve been here for two years now and I’m looking forward to the next five seasons now that I’ve signed.
“Last season, especially with it being the last season at the Boleyn Ground, was pretty special, with the Manchester United game one which will live with me forever.
“This season, we’re all looking forward to the new Stadium that’s up and running now, the first game with Juventus which is obviously going to be a fantastic day, and the season ahead.”
