West Ham are confident Andre Ayew would be back in action in
December after revealing he would not need surgery on his damaged thigh.

Chelsea, which will take time to recover from,” head of medical and
sports science Stijn Vandenbroucke told the club’s official website.
“Andre will not have surgery and we have started the rehab straight
away, working two times a day. Andre is a highly professional athlete
with a positive attitude that no doubt will affect the return to play
date. He added: “It is early to put a time-line on the rehab, but we are
positive to reintroduce him in December.”
That would be music to the ears of Ghana coach Avram Grant who
would be hopeful that the deputy Black Stars captain would now be in
line for a place at the 2017 Nations Cu
