Samuel Sarfo: Liberty Ready For Edubiase

Liberty Professionals will travel to the home of New Edubiase on Sunday 10 July in a Ghana premier league fixture.

Edubiase lie bottom of the league with 15 points from 17 games played so far while Liberty is seventh on the league log with 25 points, and is six points away from league leaders WA All Stars.

The first leg of the fixture between both clubs ended 2-0 in favor of the Dansoman-based side.

Speaking to THE PARROTS, captain of Liberty Professionals, Samuel Sarfo, said they anticipate a difficult game, but was confident his side will get the results.

“They came here and played good football in the first round, but we managed to beat them two goals to nil. They being at the bottom of the table will motivate them to come all out for the three points. I think it won’t be an easy game, but we are just preparing as we do all the time, so when the day comes, we just have to comply with everything our coach tells us”, he stated.

The skipper also touched on the importance of forward Latif Blessing in the game.

“He is doing a marvelous work and I think his performance has been outstanding for us, so I hope on Sunday he gets a good game”, he said.

Blessing has bagged nine goals in the league and is second behind leading scorer Yahaya Mohammed who has eleven.
