Just like the male penis
, there is no
manual that comes with the vagina. And with the African
pseudo-conservative nature, most females don’t get actual lessons on
what to do or not to do with their genitals.
Most females have been taught to keep their private parts private,
and thus they tend to totally ignore it without taking special care of
it.
This is a mistake and women must be aware of the importance of paying
attention to this sensitive part of their body. The reproductive health
of most females often manifests itself through symptoms in the vulva
and vagina. This part of the body is delicate but needs special
attention.
Truth is there are proper and improper uses of a vagina, and here are the improper uses:
1. DON’T use vaginal douches
A vaginal douche may seem harmless enough but according to scientific
research, douches alter the natural pH of your lady part thus making it
more vulnerable to infection.
2. DON’T use soap to clean your vagina
Just like douches, washing the vagina with soap might seem like a
good idea but using soap in washing the vagina will ALTER the natural pH
balance of the vagina too. Water is all you need to wash your vulva;
soap is irritating anyways
3. DON’T wear underwear from synthetic materials
Cotton underwear is ALWAYS the right attire to guard your vajayjay in.
Synthetic underwear has been known to prevent genitals from
“breathing”, thus reducing aeration and making you more prone to
infection.
4. DON”T wear tight clothing
Tight clothing will cause urinary tract infections in women. They
have also been known to cause cystitis, which is an inflammation of the
bladder and vulvodynia, pain in the vulva.
5. DON’T use vaginal sprays
Seriously, vaginal sprays don’t do any good. Whether it is in the
form of powders, scented towels etc, these things are totally
unnecessary and will hard the natural microbial flora which aids the
vagina. Simply put, stay away from these.
6. DON’T sleep with underwear
Sleeping without underwear allows your vagina to be well-aired during your rest.
7. DON’T use panty liners
Most panty liners are made with a plastic backing which allows very little air to get through to the vagina.
